Congratulations to our newly elected Board of Directors! We’re thankful for all the hard work put in by the outgoing BoD and excited to see how these brothers will use their talents to help the Chapter!
Executive Board Elections
Congratulations to our newly elected Executive Board! We are all very excited to see how their talents will benefit the house and what new heights they will bring us to. Elections for Membership Vice President were postponed due to one of the candidates being out of town.
EDIT (11/19): Congratulations to Kyle Duckering, our Membership Vice President!
Winterization 2017
Winterization was held this year on November 11, and Triangle brothers could not be happier to be apart of it! Winterization is an annual community service event at Purdue where students prepare the yards and homes of the elderly and disabled in Tippecanoe County for winter.

Dad’s Day 2017
We held our 2017 Dad’s Day last Saturday, where brothers, new members, and their families were able to enjoy a tailgate at the house, a Boiler football win over Illinois, and dinner together after the game. Thanks to External VP Nick Zenobi for all his work planning this event, and thanks to everyone who came out to make this one of our best Dad’s Days yet!
Recruitment Director Elections
Congratulations to Matt Davis, our Spring 2018 Recruitment Director! Matt is a sophomore studying Systems Analysis and Design from Orland Park, IL. He was the Recruitment Director last semester, when he brought in a new member class of 14 young men. If you are interested in joining Triangle next semester or know someone who is, feel free to get in touch with Matt at (708) 267-0187 and recruitment@purduetriangle.org. We’re looking forward to another successful semester of recruitment headed by Matt!
Fall 2017 House Improvement Day Pictures
And another one down for the history books! The seventh House Improvement Day was full of hard work and camaraderie, as the actives and alumni completed several key projects, and enjoyed a hearty lunch for their efforts. The brothers leveled the front yard bench, which was heavily listing, as well as sodded the terraced pit, landscaped the entire front yard, and repaired the dumpster privacy wall. The pictures really do not do the quality of the work justice, but feel free to view the attached pictures, and make sure to stop by next time you find yourself in the area!
Announcing the Fall 2017 House Improvement Day!
On Saturday, August 26, the actives and alumni will hold the latest installment in the biannual House Improvement Day starting at 9:00 AM. There will be food provided for lunch, and the event has proved to be a great time for returning alumni to check out the progress made on the house, meet actives and alumni alike, and give back to their house. We’d love to see you there! More information can be found in the attached flyer below, but feel free to direct any additional questions to Pat McCarthy (mccarwp@gmail.com) on the alumni side, and any questions for the actives to Greg Haegele (ghaegele@purdue.edu). We hope to see you there!
Happy 4th of July
Have a great 4th of July! Just remember, classes start in a little more than a month: make sure to be safe and avoid any accidents during the holiday weekend.
Study Table Complete
And the table is complete! Thanks to Greg Haegele for this table, we hope that it will be used by years of studious members of Triangle. Pictures of the project below.
Brand New Rack Tag Board
At Triangle, we have a system to wake brothers up who have early classes. This promotes class attendance and is a great way to ensure you are awake when you want to be. To track when brother wants to be woken up, we set a “rack tag”, which used to be put onto an old board with some nails in it. Now, thanks to Aaron Campbell, we have a brand new rack board, complete with hooks and tags instead of nails, clear text, and some great decorations. Thanks Aaron!
